Hello John,

 

I want to provide some information to you regarding the topic of Order of
Selection (OOS).  I want to be responsive to the woman who expressed her
concerns at the NFB conference regarding an individual's ability to advocate
for themselves in the VR eligibility and OOS process when they may not know
themselves what they need.  

 

The attached link is a resource and an exercise to assist individuals
discuss their functional limitations which impacts OOS.  Perhaps it will be
helpful to individuals in thinking through their challenges and articulating
them to their counselor.
